Nicholas Snyder, CFA

Chairman & CEO

Mr. Snyder has significant experience investing in the resource space, actively engaging with management teams of numerous public and private companies. He was previously a Principal at Union Square Research Group, a boutique research firm catering to institutional investors and prior to that he was President of Morris Snyder Asset Management.

W.G. “Bill” Young, P. Geol., MBA

Director & President

Mr. Young has 40 years of technical and management experience in the Canadian and US oil industry, beginning at Texaco and Dome Petroleum. He was one of the initial team members of Renegade Oil and Gas and a founder of Renegade Petroleum, successfully managing major exploration programs at both companies.

Vance Blydo, P.Eng.

Senior Operations Consultant

Mr. Blydo is a professional engineer with 24 years of operational experience in the oil and gas industry in Western Canada, both in exploration and development as well as in production and plant operations. He previously managed the drilling program at Spyglass Resources after working in operations at Renegade Petroleum and Zapata Energy.

Donna Bowles, P. Land

Senior Land & Gov't Relations Consultant

Donna Bowles is a professional landman and has over 25 years of diverse experience in mineral land.  She was previously the Manager, Land at a publicly traded company, Vice President Land and founder of a private company as well as Landman at Canadian Natural Resources Limited.

Alnesh Mohan, MST, CA, CPA


Mr. Mohan has over 20 years of accounting, auditing, and tax experience as a founding partner at Quantum Advisory Partners LLP. Previously of KPMG, he has served as Vice-Chairman and CEO of Corner Market Capital Corporation, a private equity firm, as well as CFO and Director of public companies listed on the TSX Venture and Canadian Securities Exchanges.

Phil Kornbluth, MBA

Helium Business Consultant

President of Kornbluth Helium Consulting, Mr. Kornbluth has 37 years of experience in the industrial gas business. He previously served as EVP of the International & Helium division of Matheson TNSC and as VP of Global Helium at the BOC Group. Mr. Kornbluth also serves as a consultant to North American Helium.

Neil Burrows, CPA, CMA


Mr. Burrows has 30 years of experience specializing in junior oil and gas companies. He has expertise in operational accounting, corporate development and administration.  He was previously CFO and VP of Finance at publicly-traded Striker Exploration, Alston Energy, and Renegade Oil & Gas, as well as Addison Energy, a subsidiary of Exco Resources.


Wayne Rydman, P.Geoph

Sr. Geophysicist

Mr. Rydman has 25 years of geophysical experience, primarily in Western Canada, and has expertise in seismic processing, acquisition, and 2D&3D interpretation. He has held various technical and managerial roles in exploration and development at junior exploration and production companies as well as major companies like ConocoPhillips and CGG Geophysics. 

Jim Stoll, P.Geoph.


Mr. Stoll has 35 years of experience in geophysical oil and gas exploration in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin. He is qualified in all manners of seismic acquisition, field safety, an environmental policy, having previously served as a geophysicist for Dome Petroleum, Unocal, Petro-Canada, and Dominion Exploration.

Patty Thomas, M.Sc., P.Geo.

Consulting Geologist

Mrs. Thomas has 33 years of exploration experience in the Western Canada Sedimentary Basin and has held a number of service contracts with provincial government bodies including the SK Ministry of the Economy and the Petroleum Technology Research Institute. Patty was previously VP Exploration for Raven Energy and Prairie Hunter Energy.

Steve Bedell

Consulting Geologist

Mr. Bedell is an experienced geologist specializing in GIS, geomatics, petroleum data & programming, with 16 years experience working in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin. He previously worked for EOG Resources Canada, where he was responsible for shallow gas development on 125,000 acres in SW Saskatchewan and SE Alberta, which included drilling 1,200 wells.

Dr. Alton Brown, Ph. D.

Reservoir Consultant

Dr. Brown is an acknowledged expert on helium migration and trapping through both fluid and gas systems. He has 35 years of experience in reservoir evaluation, most of which were spent in reservoir quality prediction and fluid migration analysis in the exploration research group of Arco Oil & Gas, before that company was purchased for $18 billion by BP.
